Flooding averted in section of Queenstown after culverts cleared

Serious flooding was avoided after the Ministry of Public Infrastructure and City Hall took action to clear two culverts in Queenstown, Georgetown on Monday (May 2, 2016) morning. NAMILCO flour thieves convicted

Two persons, including an employee of Guyana’s National Milling Company (NAMILCO), have been convicted and fined for stealing  several bags of flour from the Agricola, East Bank Demerara-based entity.
