Police depend on autopsy for clues to prisoner’s death

Police are depending on an autopsy to determine how prisoner, who was accused of murder, died at the Georgetown Prison.

He has been identified as Victor Larry, said to be in his 30s.  Head of the Criminal Investigations Department, Senior Superintendent Leslie James said there were no visible marks of violence on Larry’s body.

He said Larry was pronounced dead at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) about 10 AM.

Larry was due to appear at the Christianburg Magistrates’ Court on October 15
