Mark “Polo” wanted for coke, ganja find at Ogle Airport

The Customs Anti Narcotics Unit (CANU) on Thursday issued a wanted bulletin for an Albouystown, Georgetown man in connection with the discovery of a large quantity of marijuana and cocaine in the baggage of a Barbados-bound passenger.

CANU said it was searching for 32-year old Mark Mohabir also known as “Polo” of Cooper Street, Albouystown “in connection with the discovery of narcotics” on Wednesday.

A Guyanese woman, who was booked to leave Guyana on a LIAT flight, was arrested at the Ogle International Airport allegedly with five kilogrammes of marijuana and three kilogrammes of cocaine.

The 20-year old woman was expected to be charged with being in possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
