The dead Jamaican woman, who was found in a city hotel almost one month ago, had ingested a number of suspected cocaine pellets, police said.

Her Jamaican companion who was also a guest at the hotel has not been seen or heard from since.

Police said an autopsy revealed a number of ingested “pellets”, suspected to contain cocaine, were found in the body 31-year old Ann Gardener

The autopsy was conducted on Friday by Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh. The cause of dearth has not yet been given.

Gardner’s body was found in a room at NY Car Wash and Guest House on Camp and Princess Streets on January 22, 2014.

Police had subsequently issued a wanted bulletin for 36-year old Anthony Lloyd Neville Morrison, saying they wanted to question him about Gardener’s death.
